Fugro Pelagos provides hydrographic surveying and charting from project consultation to full project management and execution. They have developed innovative and robust data acquisition and processing systems and methodologies that ensure the highest quality data and deliverables. For several years, they have held the largest single hydrographic charting contract for NOAA and have collected over 5 billion soundings during this period. Most recently, Fugro Pelagos used marine Lidar to become the first company to deliver hydrographic Lidar data of sufficient accuracy to be accepted by NOAA for their nautical charting.

The company can operate from their own fleet of vessels or can deploy on customer's vessels or vessels of opportunity. They have successfully conducted offshore survey operations from shallow water skiffs to large ocean-going survey vessels, in some cases, supporting multiple survey launches. Lidar services can also be operated on a customer's aircraft or an aircraft of opportunity.
