The WinFrog Controlled Remote Tug Telemetry Module enables one WinFrog system to control, monitor and track other WinFrog systems. Available as an extension to the core WinFrog program, this module provides the convenience and control of operating remote WinFrog systems from one controller system, as well as an operational area safety factor.
With the combination of the Controlled Remote and MVP&T Modules, one WinFrog system can control up to 10 remote WinFrog systems. Communication between the control system and the remote sites can be via radio telemetry using WinFrogs wireless token ring network, over a LAN using TCP / IP protocol, or via a combination of these two methods.
The central WinFrog system, or controller, can control the operation of the remote systems, including the application of device data to the positioning of the remote vehicle, all sensor and vehicle offsets, vehicle presentation, line and waypoint tracking, eventing, graphics and transmission of the raw, positional and event data back to the controller. The controller can also re-broadcast the information of any remote vehicle it is tracking to any other selected remote, allowing the controller to control how each remote operates and what they are able to track. The inclusion of fairlead and anchor data provides an increased level of operating safety for work vessels.
